Personal information

If you contact us by means of an email message or by completing a form with personal information on our website, we can reply to you using this information and send you the information, materials, or offers that you have requested. The collected data are never sold or provided to third parties for other reasons, unless we are obligated to do so under law.

 

Access data/server logfiles

Data is gathered each time its offering is accessed (so-called server logfiles). These access data include: name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, volume of data transferred, report about the successful access, type and version of the browser, user’s operating system, referrer URL, IP address and requesting provider. The provider will only use the log data for a statistical analysis in order to run, secure and optimise the offering.

 

Contact

When the user contacts the provider (e.g. using the contact form or email), the user’s data will be saved in order to process the query as well as in case there are follow-up questions. No hande over to third parties.

 

Cancellation, changes, corrections, and updates

Upon request, the user is entitled to obtain free information about the personal data which have been saved about him. In addition, the user is entitled to the correction of incorrect data  and to the blocking or deletion of his personal data unless there is a legal obligation to archive these data.

 

Privacy

If data are provided to us by customers or interested parties for processing, we are obligated to maintain confidentiality about them and in particular to process them only according to the instructions of the customer or interested party.

If we work with external service providers to perform business processes, the contractual conditions are controlled by the provisions of the German Federal Data Privacy Law. If external service providers participate in the provision of our services, we will comply with the principles of proper data processing when providing the services, and continuously monitor compliance.

 

Data collection in the application process

The collection, processing and use of personal data that is made available to us are subject to the provisions of the Telemedia Act (TMG), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the principles for the orderly conduct and storage of books, records and documents electronic form and data access (GoBD).

With regard to the personal data of the applicant, we point out according to the EU GDPR that these are stored and transmitted in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. The collection, processing and use takes place for the purpose of carrying out the application process.

MLR expressly points out to the applicant that the data protection for data transmissions in open networks such as the Internet can not be absolutely guaranteed according to the current state of the art. Other participants in the Internet may be technically able to intervene illegally in network security and to control the message traffic. For the security of the data transmitted by him to the Internet and stored on web servers, the applicant fully bears the risk himself, unless we are responsible for intent or gross negligence.

Data protection is subject to personal data in particular. According to the EU GDPR, personal data are individual details of personal or material circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes not only name, address, date of birth, place of birth, gender and occupation, but also all sensitive data such as bank details, income, religious information and health data, depending on the contractual relationship.
